Job Description:

Voyageur Aviation Corp. is currently accepting applications to fill an available janitor position at our main facility located in North Bay, Ontario.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out general janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, washing, waxing, dusting, and waste removal.
  • Performing clean-up on equipment as required.
  • Ensuring janitorial duties are completed to the highest standards of hygiene.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Punctual reporting in accordance with established procedures.
  • Other associated duties as assigned.
This is a physically demanding position which will include, but is not limited to occasional lifting, bending, pulling, sitting, standing, crouching and/or kneeling for long periods at a time, and may also include performing work outdoors, at heights, and repetitive tasks.


  • Completion of high school as a minimum.
  • Strong organizational skills and work ethic.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated.
  • Previous janitorial work experience is considered an asset.
  • All candidates must be eligible to work for a Canadian company.
  • Preference will be given to individuals with previous experience.
