Financial Analyst, General Accounting & Inventory Reporting
Voyageur Aviation Corp (Voyageur) is looking for a professional accountant (Certified Public Accountant (CPA)) to join its accounting team reporting to the Director, Corporate Accounting and Administration. The candidate will be a key member of the accounting team and will have primary accounting responsibility for inventory accounting and reporting which is one the most significant assets of the Company other than its people.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years post designation experience and excellent problem solving skills. The primary focus of this role will involve:
managing the rotables (aircraft fixed assets) and aircraft part held for resale (inventory) accounting including depreciation entries, accruals and inventory count controls.
responsibility to reconcile intercompany accounts and as such will need to develop strong relationships amongst the Chorus Group of Companies.

CPA with at least 3 years post designation experience.
Superior problem solving skills and desire to question status quo is required.
Experience managing inventory or having inventory audit experience is required.
Ability to analyze accounting issues and make recommendations is required.
Excellent MS Office Excel proficiency is required.
Knowledge or experience in Microsoft Great Plains accounting systems is an asset.
Knowledge of AvBase WinAir inventory system is an asset
Knowledge or experience in Epicor ERP is an asset.
Experience working in a public company or equivalent experience with National Instrument 52-109 requirements is an asset.
Candidate will be expected to self-manage and work independently
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
